John Naimo bred springers under the kennel name "DeJay" and Libby O'Donnell Naimo bred under the kennel name "Minstrel". Both kennels were working with some of the same bloodlines, and because of the dogs, John and Libby met one another. Eventually they fell in love and joined their lives and dogs, forming Kismet.
